Declan commenced training with the Irish Revenue Commissioners in 1971 and rose to be a Senior Inspector of Taxes dealing with the taxation affairs of Irish and Multi-National Groups.
He left in 1980 to join Ormsby & Rhodes as Taxation Manager and became Taxation Partner in 1986. He is also a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland. Declan served as a Director of the Irish Small and Medium Enterprise Association and sat as their representative on the Government appointed body for the review of Irish Company Law.
He was a member of the Council of the Football Association of Ireland and serves as a non-executive director of several Irish Trading Companies.
Declan’s main interests are in local and international taxation and financial advisory services. His client base covers Irish resident and expatriate individuals together with Irish owned and International companies.
