Ormsby & Rhodes (Dublin) are delighted to announce the appointment of two new Partners: Ciara McDunphy and Ciara O’Luanaigh.

Ciara McDunphy has been appointed as a Partner in the Audit Department.  Upon graduating from Dublin Institute of Technology in 2009, with a Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Business and Management, Ciara joined Ormsby & Rhodes as part of the graduate trainee programme and received membership to the Institute of Chartered Accountants in April 2013. During her career in Ormsby & Rhodes, Ciara has advanced through a number of promotions leading to her recent appointment to Partner in January 2020.

As Partner, Ciara manages a portfolio of both indigenous and multi-national corporations involved in various industries, including manufacturing, financial services and not for profit. Ciara is also responsible for managing the operation of the firm’s Audit Department.

During Ciara’s career in Ormsby & Rhodes, she has gained significant experience in the areas of large international group consolidations and the due diligence process. Ciara has a vast range of expertise in compliance issues ranging from incorporation of a company, audit regulatory and legislative requirements, taxation compliance and all aspects of corporate advisory services.

Ciara O’Luanaigh has been appointed as a Partner in the Corporate Services Department, having joined the Firm in 2013.  Ciara trained in the restructuring department of one of the larger international accountancy firms.

Ciara advises on corporate restructuring, company law, company office secretarial requirements and Directors’ and company compliance.

Ciara has gained significant experience in restructuring large and medium-sized groups, together with implementing tax planning and succession schemes. Ciara assists the Firm’s tax department with the implementation of both domestic and foreign corporate structures.

Ciara assists companies in establishing a presence in Ireland and deals with all areas of corporate compliance. She has extensive experience in company and individual insolvencies, including creditors’ liquidations and receiverships.

Ciara has an honours degree in Business & Law, is a Chartered Tax Consultant with Chartered Accountants Ireland, holds a Corporate Finance diploma from Chartered Accountants Ireland and is CIS (Affiliated) with ICSA.
