Ruairí graduated from Dublin City University in 2014 with, BA (Hons) in Accounting and Finance.
Ruairí joined Ormsby & Rhodes as part of the graduate trainee programme and received membership to the Institute of Chartered Accountants in April 2019.
In January 2022, Ruairí was appointed as an Associate of Ormsby & Rhodes and subsequently made a Partner of the firm in January 2024.
Ruairí has a shared responsibility in managing the daily operation of the firm’s Audit department whilst managing a portfolio of clients.
These clients range from large international groups of companies to various-sized indigenous owner-managed businesses in a broad range of sectors including manufacturing, wholesale, tourism, and not-for-profit.
Ruairí primarily concentrates on the audit of small and medium-sized companies and has extensive experience in group audits of companies and is responsible for preparing the consolidation of Group audits. During Ruairí’s career at Ormsby and Rhodes, he has gained extensive experience in several financial Due Diligence assignments and has a keen interest in this area.
Ruairí also assists in keeping staff abreast of current technical issues and regulatory matters that arise in the profession.
In his spare time, Ruairí is involved with his local GAA club and is a keen golfer, when time allows!
